INSIDE THE JAR
A CLOSER LOOK
THE TEXTURE
A water-free butter, whipped until it lifts onto a fingertip in a soft peak. It sits firm and matte in the jar, then turns to oil the moment it’s worked into skin. With no water in the blend nothing is diluted — what you scoop is pure butters and oil, concentrated, so a little goes further than it looks.
RICH, NEVER HEAVY
Shea and mango do the deep conditioning — the part that rescues skin gone tight or dry. Jojoba brings the lightness: it sits close to skin’s own oils and absorbs fast, so the richness never turns greasy. And a little arrowroot is the quiet trick — it’s what gives the butter its soft, dry, almost powdery finish instead of a slick one, so it sinks in and leaves skin feeling looked after rather than coated.
SEALED FROM LIGHT
Natural oils and essential oils are sensitive to light. Over time daylight breaks them down, dulling the scent and tiring a formula that has no synthetic preservatives holding it together. Each jar is made from deep violet glass that works like a filter — blocking almost all visible light and letting only the violet part of the spectrum through, shielding what’s inside from the light that would wear it down. The scent stays truer, the oils stay fresher, and the blend keeps the character it had the day it was made, for longer. The colour is in the glass itself, not a coating, so it never washes off or fades — which is why each jar is made to be kept, refilled and reused rather than thrown away.
THE SCENT
Every scent in the range is natural, never synthetic fragrance. Natural scent behaves differently: it’s quieter, it shifts a little as it settles on the skin, and it fades more honestly. That’s the choice we make — a scent that smells like the plant it came from.
